Step 1 – Create Canvas
“First, we need a canvas to work on. Go to File > New and create a 3.5 inch by 2.5 inch canvas at 300 DPI. This ensures your design is crisp and high-resolution for print or digital use.”
Step 2 – Gradient Background
“Next, let’s add a gradient background. Use a radial gradient with the center color # ffb400 and the edge color # b35400. This warm honey gradient gives our text a glowing backdrop.”
Step 3 – Add Text
“Now, add the text for your effect. I’m typing the word ‘Honey’ in Machia font, 130 pt. Center the text in your canvas. Make sure the font is installed on your system so it appears correctly.”

Step 5 – Set Fill to 0%
Duplicate the Layer (Ctrl+J). Finally, set the Fill of your text layer to 0%. This keeps the text shape visible but allows all the layer styles to show fully, giving that perfect honey-like 3D effect.
